Now is definitely the time to buy too. The years of the Mk1 XR2 Cars being scrapyard fodder are rapidly coming to an end - expect to pay £600 to £1000 for a good starting point for tuning, and up to £2500 for a minter - but there are still cheap-as-chips and rotten cars out there suitable as a good source of the model's sometimes-unique spares.
